More On Google 950 Fix

Since our last post on this subject, we have noticed something that maybe of interest.
For those of you that have sites in the 950 penalty box you might want to check your brand name in Google’s search. What I mean is, do a phrase search like this:
“My Brand Name” see if it shows any results for your pages.
Next pay very close attention to the Copyright information on your pages.
Does your Copyright have your brand phrase in it?
Does each of your pages have your brand phrase in the Title?
You might want to change your brand phrase in the Copyright section to something like
©2008 MyDomainName.com
Also check common standalone phrases either in plain text or Anchor text and check them against the Registered TradeMarks Database , if you find a match that is LIVE, and you are not the owner, then you might want to change your phrase.
